1. Information Collection

RegexTool is built on the principle of Zero Data Retention. Unlike traditional web applications, we do not require user accounts, email registration, or any form of identity verification to access our full suite of tools.

We do not collect personal identifiers such as names, physical addresses, or telephone numbers. Any data you enter into our tools—including regular expressions, test strings, and source text—remains strictly within your browser's temporary memory.

2. Client-Side Execution

Our architecture is strictly "client-side." This means all regular expression testing, data extraction, and string manipulation logic is executed by your device's processor using your browser's built-in JavaScript engine.

• No data is transmitted to our servers during the use of any tool.
• No database logs are kept of your patterns or test data.
• Closing the browser tab effectively wipes all session data from your RAM.

3. Third-Party Services & Cookies

To maintain high performance and global accessibility, we utilize industry-standard Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) for our core libraries:

• Tailwind CSS CDN: Provides our styling framework.
• jQuery CDN: Powers our interactive elements.
• Cloudflare/Google Fonts: Delivers our typography.

These services may collect basic telemetry data (such as IP address and browser type) to optimize content delivery. RegexTool itself does not set tracking cookies or use advertising trackers.

4. Data Protection Rights

Under regulations like GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), users have rights regarding their data. Since we do not store your data, your rights are naturally protected. There is no data to "forget" or "export" because we never possessed it in the first place.
